IPOH: There is nothing for the Indian community in the recently released Pakatan Harapan 14th General Election (GE14) manifesto, MIC Youth said today.
National Youth MIC Youth chief Datuk C.Sivarraajh said that there is no special allocation for the welfare and interests of the community .
"Where is the development agenda to upgrade the socio-economy for the Indians and programmes for youths? No pulling factor more so we do not see any Indian leader in the opposition group who can fight and stand up for the community," he said in a WhatsApp message.
Sivarraajh said most of the promises announced in the manifesto had been implemented by Barisan Nasional under the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
"It is only a popular manifesto which is not practical ... there is no research done before announcing the contents. It is rhetoric with empty promises and they have no ability and capability to carry out the plans," he added.
